Fall Products Review

It’s a product Reviewsday! I really enjoy doing these kinds of reviews! We’re embracing the autumn flavors and limited-edition products this month. I picked some products I hadn’t tried before and some I hadn’t even heard of. It was fun discovering these new things. Is there a fall food product you love? Let me know in the comments so I can check it out!

Cinnamon Coca-Cola

The Coca-Cola Company has done it again! This is a bold thing to say, but I think this could be my favorite flavored Coke! (It’s really close to Vanilla Coke so I’m not sure which I like more…could we get a Cinnamon Vanilla Coke???) When I opened the bottle, I immediately got a whiff of cinnamon and it was so nice. Drinking it, it’s not an in-your-face cinnamon flavor, but rather a perfect hint and aftertaste, that is SO satisfying. If I was a big soda-drinker I would 100% stock up on this, because I loved it! I highly recommend trying it!

Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Spice Milano Cookies

These are really close to being over the line of tasting to artificial, but they’re not. I really liked the pumpkin and chocolate together, but in a different texture than you usually find this time of year. Most chocolate and pumpkin things tend to be gummy or really soft, but I like the flavors together sandwiched in a Milano cookie! I would really recommend these if you’re in need of a pumpkin spiced treat that’s different from the norm.

GT’S Kombucha Living in Gratitude

I’m a HUGE fan of this! This flavor of kombucha is apple, turmeric, carrot and cider spices and I am HERE FOR IT! I really enjoy apple cider, but I’m pretty sure this will replace at least half of my cider consumption this year. Unlike the Coke, I may actually stock up on this so I can drink it right up until Christmas. It is so nice! HIGHLY recommend it if you like apple cider sorts of flavors.

Kombuchas have different flavors. Some people like a Health-Ade Kombucha and some like Humm. They vary pretty heavily in flavor. If you’ve tried one brand but didn’t like it I recommend trying different ones to see if you find one you like! I’ve only tried two flavors of GT’s Kombucha but both have been SO good! I also really like Humm kombucha!

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Cookie Straws

Alright, nearly the opposite side of the satisfied spectrum. My first impression of these was, “even if I like them, I’m never buying them again.” Why? Because there are twenty cookie straws in the tin, and they’re all individually packaged in plastic. I’m all for Starbucks getting rid of their plastic straws in stores, but from this packaging I want to know what their primary reason was for doing that. I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist right now, but I’m pretty sure Starbucks only did that because of PR. Knocking out plastic straws is a trend right now, not knocking out plastic packaging.

Yes, if you have an aversion to others touching your food but you want to share these, this packaging helps. I also thought maybe you could give them out at Halloween but they’re too fragile to withstand a kid’s bucket of candy. I might give them out to parents who come with their kids. So, there are reasons you can find to justify the extra plastic, I just think they’re not good enough.

All that said, I think these are a good pumpkin option for dipping in a warm drink on a cold day. They’re a little close to tasting too artificially flavored to me, but they’re still a nice treat to have every once in a while.
